In 2009, Bernard Adamus was a multiple award-winner at the Festival de Petite-Vallée and he also released “Brun,” which immediately attracted attention for its blend of bayou blues and jazz sung with humour and authenticity. The accolades quickly followed: Archambault’s Grand Prize for New Artists, a Félix award for Discovery of the Year, four Quebec Indie Music Awards, etc.
With the album “No 2,” the Polish-Quebecker stays the musical course and continues to enthuse critics and a public increasingly addicted to the Adamus style. Everything’s set for his second visit to the Festival!
