Matthieu Chédid is the second most-awarded artist in the history of the Victoires de la Musique in France. A prolific musician, in a 16-year career he’s released six studio albums, four live albums and created music for five films, including the The Triplets of Belleville in 2003.
As good as M is on disc—and he’s very, very good—you have to see him onstage to fully appreciate the essence of the artist and the incredible energy infusing each of his performances. The lucky people who saw him at the Festival in 2009 are excited about seeing him again this summer on the Plains.
