Ghislain Poirier sera de la fête sur la scène Molson Dry

Le Québécois Ghislain Poirier s’ajoute à la programmation de ce soir, le 13 juillet, sur la scène Molson Dry. À 20h50, tout juste après Souleymane Diamanka (20 h), l’artiste s’amènera avec son hip-hop déconstruit et ses remixes et s’affairera à enflammer le Pigeonnier avant l’arrivée du slammeur Grand Corps Malade, à 21h50.

AaRON remplacé par Souleymane Diamanka

Pour des raisons médicales, le duo AaRON ne pourra donner son spectacle prévu le dimanche 13 juillet, à 20 h. Le slammeur Souleymane Diamanka prendra la relève et assurera la première partie de Grand Corps Malade avec sa musique jazzy et intimiste.

Jaleo Real%u2019s Thursday evening show cancelled

It is with considerable disappointment that the five Catalonians making up the group Jaleo Real must cancel their show scheduled for 7:30 this evening at Place Metro, owing to complications with their air travel arrangements. Fortunately, however, festival-goers will have the opportunity to dance to the sounds of the group’s signature rumba flamenco, with one show being given at L’Impérial on Friday, July 4 at 8 pm and another show being given at Place Metro on Saturday at 12:30 pm.

Les laisser-passez seront également en vente aux comptoirs Hydro-Québec situés aux entrées des sites lors de l’événement.

The Musical Box – The Genesis experience hits Québec City on July 12!

It’s a wonderful surprise for British rock lovers and particularly for fans of Genesis: on July 12, the Québec City Summer Festival will be playing host to The Musical Box on the stage of the Scène Bell! For the occasion, the Quebec-based band renowned for being the foremost Genesis tribute band will present its brilliant Black Show, which covers the hits from the albums Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound. To date, The Musical Box has performed before a half-million concert-goers, enthralled by the group’s ability to reproduce certain shows of the legendary rock group down to the last detail.

VAN HALEN at Quebec City’s Summer Festival on July 3rd

The Festival today unveiled its final surprise: rounding out its most surprising program of events for 2008 will be rock legends Van Halen! The most popular American rock group of the late 70s and early 80s will be giving a show in Québec City on July 3!

YES FORCED TO CANCEL their North American tour

YES vocalist Jon Anderson recently suffered acute respiratory failure that has forced him to spend the next several months resting and recovering. With considerable disappointment, the group announced the cancellation of its 40th anniversary tour, which it was planning to kick off with its concert date at the Québec City Summer Festival.
