Andrée Boudreau Trio
Since 2002, pianist Andrée Boudreau has headed up this trio that also includes double bass player François Marion and drummer Dany Richard. The group’s repertoire consists of the pianist’s original compositions as well as new arrangements of well-known Quebec songs such as “Un Canadien errant” and “Isabeau s’y promène”; as such it showcases the trio’s uniquely refined and captivating sound while also testifying to the spontaneity, responsiveness and musical sensibility inhabiting each of the members. Andrée Boudreau will be making a much-awaited visit at the Largo Resto-Club as part of a series of shows she and her group are giving at jazz festivals across Quebec.
