Firmly rooted in Quebec’s musical heritage, Genticorum also incorporates the dynamism of today’s North American and European folk cultures into their music. Weaving wooden flute, fiddle, acoustic guitar, Jew’s harp, bass, foot percussion with strong vocal harmonies, the trio performs not only traditional songs and melodies but their own original compositions as well.
