A native of Victoriaville (Quebec), Alain-François has been making the rounds of all Quebec’s stages for the last 15 years. Playing on the fiddle that his grandfather Rosario bequeathed to him, Alain-François carries on the tradition. In addition to being a singer/songwriter, he stands out as a fiddler-cum-singer. In the world of folk and trad music, he combines fiddle, electric guitars, drums, bass and a range of percussion instruments (including cajón, goblet drum and garbage can). His career has taken him across Quebec, New Brunswick, Canada, France and Belgium, his fiddling prowess drawing rave reactions from crowds.
