Where are the main Festival sites located?

All the main Festival sites are located in the heart of Old Québec, in the Port of Québec and in the Saint-Roch district!

How can I get tourist information on the Quebec City Area?

You’ll find detailed information in our Packages section or on the Quebec City Tourism website. We also have information stands on the sites during the Festival.

Do you have services for people with restricted mobility?

Yes. We have a seat reservation service for people with restricted mobility who wish to attend the shows. Simply call 1-888-992-5200. Seats are limited and reservations are taken the day of the show. There are reserved sections at the Bell, Molson Dry and Place Metro sites.

Where can I park near the Festival sites?

The Société Parc-Autos has indoor and outdoor paid parking. However, we suggest that you use public transportation. Please consult the RTC website for bus routes to the Festival sites. You’ll also find the ‘Parc-O-Bus’ section that lists places where you can park your vehicle free of charge and take the bus.

Are shows cancelled in case of rain? 

No.

However, a show could be cancelled if a thunderstorm puts the safety of people on the site at risk. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to give advance notice when a show is cancelled.

Are chairs allowed on the sites?

Are pets allowed on the sites?

Unfortunately, no, with the exception of guide dogs.

What items are allowed on the Festival sites?

  • Umbrellas
  • Small beach towels
  • Small backpacks/bags (Note: backpacks/bags will be searched)
  • Lighters/ cigarettes
  • Digital cameras (non-professional)
  • Disposable or non-professional cameras
  • Child strollers

However, you may bring water, juice and snacks in plastic containers in a small backpack.

What items are not allowed on the Festival sites?

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Drugs and related accessories (except prescription drugs)
  • Glass bottles
  • Coolers, thermos bottles or rigid water bags
  • Fireworks or firecrackers
  • Water pistols
  • Chains or wallets on a chain
  • Knives or weapons of any kind
  • Bats, balls, balloons of any kind
  • Skateboards
  • Megaphones
  • Animals (except guide dogs)
  • Portable or folding chairs (unless the show is designated for chairs)
  • Large camping-style backpacks
  • Tents
  • Video equipment or professional photo equipment (equipped with a removable lens)
  • Audio recorders
  • Musical instruments (including drums)
  • Items intended for sale/promotion without written and signed authorization from the Festival
  •  
  • Items that could put the safety of festivalgoers at risk

N.B Some prohibited items can be left in designated lockers. These lockers are clearly identified and are found near the entrance to the Plains of Abraham site.

What should I do if I lose something on the sites during the Festival? 

Call Bell Info-Festival at 418 529-5200 or 1 888 992-5200 (toll-free) and we will take steps to help you find your lost belongings.

However, please note that we are not liable for any lost or stolen property.

How does an artist or an agent offer his services to the Festival?

The Festival d'été de Québec programming team accepts offers from performers from September 1 to March 1 for each new edition of our event, which is always held in early July. There are two ways to contact the Quebec City Summer Festival with your offer: by mail or by e-mail.

By mail: You must include at least one CD or DVD (official album(s), demos, copies or videocassettes accepted) along with any information you consider pertinent such as a press review or biography.

By e-mail: You must include the exact address of the website that features you (direct link to musical clips; please do not send attached music files) and provides all pertinent information (such as a press review or biography). Please note that the programming team will contact only those artists and groups that have been selected. Here is our full contact information:
